A simple test, an Electrocardiogram, or simply an ECG is a test that is used to check the patient’s heart rhythm and electrical activity.
While performing an ECG, we attach sensors to the skin that are used to detect such electrical signals generated by your heart every time it beats. Such signals can easily be recorded by a machine that’s attached to the sensors and once done, the best of our cardiologists take a look at the reports to check whether there are any unusual signals.
ECG Is Used For
ECG is generally used to investigate possible heart problems or any such symptoms like chest pain, shortness of breath, dizziness etc. An ECG helps detect the following problems:
- Coronary Heart Disease.
- Heart Attacks.
If our cardiologists suggest an ECG, they might probably think that you’re having problems with the normal functioning of your heart and the test will be carried out in the hospital under the proper guidance of our cardiologists.
